Although significant progress has been made in the design and application of injectable hydrogels for biomedical applications, concurrent control of rheological and mechanical properties of injectable hydrogels has remained as an open challenge to the researchers. In this work, we introduce and put into practice a photo‐curable poloxamer (also known as Pluronic)/graphene oxide (Plu/GO) injectable hydrogel with well‐controlled rheological and mechanical properties. Acrylate group was anchored to hydrogel structure to endow photo‐crosslinking ability through decelerating degradation rate of poloxamer hydrogels after injection. It was found that the modified Plu remains stable in biological media for a long‐term period without significant weight loss. Rheological properties of hydrogels were also carried out as essential prerequisite for an ideal injectability via frequency sweep, flow curve, recovery, and yield stress before and after modification, signifying shear‐thinning behavior of Plu/GO hydrogels with high recoverability. The viscosity of shear‐thinning‐like hydrogels dropped at higher shear stress, which facilitated injection process. Moreover, mechanical behavior of Plu was optimized by manipulating the content of Plu, degree of modification with reactive precursor, curing, and particularly incorporation of GO without deteriorating effects on rheological behavior of Plu. 相似文献

Summary: The synthesis of PEDOT nanoparticles and vesicles by dispersion polymerization in a methanol/water mixture (3/2, v/v) is reported, using either ammonium persulfate or iron(III) p‐toluenesulfonate as oxidants and α‐EDOT‐PEO as a reactive stabilizer. The influence of the oxidant as well as the α‐EDOT‐PEO molar mass and concentration on the core‐shell particle morphology and conductivity properties have been investigated. PEDOT particles with conductivities up to 1.5 × 10−2 S · cm−1 have been obtained in high yield.

Sequestration of carbon dioxide in geological formations is an alternative way of managing extra carbon. Although there are
a number of mathematical modeling studies related to this subject, experimental studies are limited and most studies focus
on injection into sandstone reservoirs as opposed to carbonate ones. This study describes a fully coupled geochemical compositional
equation-of-state compositional simulator (STARS) for the simulation of CO2 storage in saline aquifers. STARS models physical phenomena including (1) thermodynamics of sub- and supercritical CO2, and PVT properties of mixtures of CO2 with other fluids, including (saline) water; (2) fluid mechanics of single and multiphase flow when CO2 is injected into aquifers; (3) coupled hydrochemical effects due to interactions between CO2, reservoir fluids, and primary mineral assemblages; and (4) coupled hydromechanical effects, such as porosity and permeability
change due to the aforementioned blocking of pores by carbonate particles and increased fluid pressures from CO2 injection. Matching computerized tomography monitored laboratory experiments showed the uses of the simulation model. In
the simulations dissolution and deposition of calcite as well as adsorption of CO2 that showed the migration of CO2 and the dissociation of CO2 into HCO3 and its subsequent conversion into carbonate minerals were considered. It was observed that solubility and hydrodynamic storage

Summary Today, more than 40 protein amino acid (AA) sequences of membrane receptors coupled to guanine nucleotide binding proteins (G-proteins) are available. For those working in the field of medicinal chemistry, these sequences present a new type of information that should be taken into consideration. To make maximal use of sequence data it is essential to be able to compare different protein sequences in a similar way to that used for small molecules. A prerequisite, however, is the availability of a processing environment that enables one to handle sequences in an easy way, both by hand and by computer. In order to meet these ends, the package CGEMA (Colour Graphics Editor for Multiple Alignment) was developed in our laboratory. The programme uses a user-definable colour coding for the different AAs. Sequences can be aligned by hand or by computer, using VGAP, and both approaches can be combined. VGAP is a novel in-house written alignment programme with a variable gap penalty that also handles consecutive alignments using one sequence as a probe. In addition, secondary structure prediction tools are available.From the 20 protein sequences, available for the muscarinic acetylcholine receptor, 13 different sequences were selected, covering the subtypes m1 to m5. By comparing the sequences, two major groups are revealed that correspond to those found by considering the transducing system coupled to the various receptor subtypes.
